Accounts and Access

You are responsible for the accuracy of information provided for your account.
You must keep your login credentials or email sign-in links secure.
You may not use another person's account without permission.
We may suspend or restrict access if abuse or a violation of these terms is detected.

Permitted Use

You agree to use the service lawfully and responsibly. You must not attempt to disrupt the app, bypass security protections, scrape restricted data, or use the service for harmful or illegal purposes.

ProteinID provides nutrition tracking tools for informational purposes only. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. For personal health decisions, consult a licensed healthcare professional.

Data and Content

You remain responsible for the data you enter.
Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
We may remove content or disable accounts that violate law or these terms.

Limitation of Liability

The service is provided on an "as is" basis. While we aim for accuracy and availability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

Third-Party Services

ProteinID may depend on third-party services such as Google Firebase, Google OAuth, and USDA FoodData Central. Their availability and separate terms remain under their own control.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Updated terms take effect when posted on this page. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated terms.
